Aftermarket HAS Systems for ZCP

I'm the proud new (to me) owner of a 2017 M3 ZCP. Like many people, I'm looking to reduce the wheel gaps and improve performance on occasional autocross days. I've narrowed down my search to the M Performance HAS and the Dinan HAS. Both were presumably engineered for non-ZCP cars so I'm wondering if either is actually an improvement over the stock ZCP springs (other than the ability to adjust the height).

I've done extensive searches but haven't been able to find a satisfactory answer to whether the spring rates of either are stiffer than the ZCP.

Coilovers

Don't get the KW,M, Dinan HAS or Height Adjustable Springs. Here's why, you still have to get a few more things to make it run right. HAS $800, Camber Plates $600, Labor $400 and $125 Alignment. That's $1925 and that's money for Coilovers. You shouldn't do it.

I don't really understand your logic.

Camber plates are a separate cost regardless of which HAS or coil over system is purchased. The labor is basically the same for a HAS kit and coil overs, and the alignment cost is the same.

There are plenty of passive coil over systems out there, but OP is basically looking at 2 grand or more for a good passive kit, or 3 grand or more for an EDC compatible coil over. And if passive is chosen, coding the EDC out is also an additional cost.

All in, with a coil over system, using your numbers for labor & camber plates, OP is looking at $3100-4100+, and those are pretty optimistic estimates. Most people aren't paying $400 for a coil over install. I personally paid $600, plus the additional for corner balance and alignment.

There are plenty of reasons to choose a coil over instead of a HAS kit, but cost definitely isn't one of them.

OP, in my opinion, your safest bet is M Performance HAS. There are plenty of members on here with Comp Pack with it, and it's probably the most unanimously well received suspension mod I've read about on here. I don't have a comp pack, but I love my MP HAS, and I've previously been on Macht Schnell springs and B16 Damptronic. It's considerably more expensive than KW and Dinan HAS kits, but in my opinion, if you're looking for something you know you will be happy with, MP HAS is a no brainer. It also helps with resale value down the line, whether you part out or just sell with the car. As is always the case, OEM parts are always more marketable, and saves you the cost of removing them if it comes time to selling.

I know you didn't list this but I recommend checking out the new HAS kit from MSS UK. Similar to Dinan they offer a more comprehensive kit.

If more track use if in your future, look into a quality set of coilovers as you'll quickly get into this area as your skill level improves.
