Can I safely run BM3 Stage 1?

Hi everyone,
I come from a FBO BM3 Stage 2 N55 F30, but the build on my F80 has been slooooooow.
My only mods are cosmetic and minor "performance" mods, AA EL Resonated MP and VTT Capture Plate. The main reason for the lack of the tune is dum dum dummmmm.... THE CRANK HUB lol...

Do you guys think it reasonably safe to run a BM3 Stage 1 OTS 93 Oct map with just the VTT CP? I just want to spank my friends 2020 Vette... Is that too much to ask?

If I blew up the N55 I wouldn't have felt as bad, if I blow up the S55 - A. My wife kills me or B. I have to sell a Kidney in Mexico. None of these choices seem appealing to me.

Some background to take into consideration, I purchased a $6,000 3rd Party bumper to bumper warranty for which I have like 4 years left or up to 100,000 miles.

What do you guys think?

Come on man, its 2022 and this platform has been out for the better part of 6 years and BM3 for awhile as well. Do you think if it wasn't safe so many people wouldn't be running that tune? Also I am a little confused as to what you are asking, is it safe? will you spank a vette, will your wife murder you if something goes wrong?

LOL^

Honestly a BM3 stage1 is mild and in all things considered, safe. Even in stock form you can have a spun crankhub or other failures.

If you are worried about warranty then you have a lot to consider because tuning can possibly void some parts of your warranty.

LOL
Basically I was hoping for someone to tell me that they've been running Stage 1 with no problems... and then I would act like that was a commandant written in stone so that I could do the same thing and act like nothing bad would ever happen to me

Lol so its written in stone then, you can run BM3 S1 without much fear of breaking anything. But remember people have spun crank hubs with no tune whatsoever so no guarantee of it happening whether you are tuned or not.

Yes, its safe to run stage 1, i recommend getting a charge pipe, but its not mandatory

Keep in mind, the crank hub sometimes fail on a stock car, so there is a always a risk

If you have a CBC installed you're safe to at least 600WHP.

Hit it with the E30 Stg2 and don't worry about the downpipes.

I run stage 2 93 octane with everything else stock, including downpipes. I have been doing that for three years now and not a problem.

If you're really worried, flash the stage1 and then limit the torque by 10% in all gears. It helps get rid of the massive torque hump these tunes have.

You forgot that the tune will spin the crank hub once installed. Don’t even have to start the car.

Why opt for sunroof when you can shoot right through the carbon?

My buddy has BM3 Stage 1 on his s55 M2c. He tracks his car regularly also. Has 10k+ miles on the stage 1 tune. Running rear 295 r888 tires as well. Other than the tune motor is 100 % stock. No issues.

No aftermarket charge pipe needed either.

The charge pipe fails even on stock boost.
Upgrading it with stage 1 is not mandatory but still strongly recommended.
It's only a matter of time before it fails.
