No, my car is at the port in Germany. Impatiently waiting for a boat ride to Los Angeles... Been waiting since January for this car and I don't know how much longer I can wait haha

Yeah it gets bad. I remember trying to call the trucking company when I ordered my first BMW. Sometimes the closer it gets the more manic you become.

Dealer prep time also sucks if it arrives later on a Friday and they can't prep it until Monday.

Well,

A fellow bimmerpost member has a car being delivered within 10 miles of my delivery dealership. His car came in on a different boat but right around the same time. More likely than not, our cars are on the same truck. His vehicle was supposed to be delivered on the 28th as was mine. He got word from his CA on the 28th that the truck carrying his (our) vehicles had some mechanical issues and that his car would be delivered on Monday (30th). Here's hoping for a good day tomorrow!

Update 4/1-----vehicle finally came in today!! definitely an awesome experience from beginning to end. I can't wait for the next ED! Here are some pics of her, with 12 miles on the dial!

Also it depends if I am buying or leasing. More likely to hold out for 2016 if buying.

I plan on going with a local dealer who I had a prior good experience with. As long as they are in the ballpark, I will stay with them. If I'm buying a 70k car, a $1k difference isn't worth it to me. Your experience further confirms that.

I applaud those who can get as spectacular deal, but some forum members turn it into a pissing contest. I have seen too many instances where members are derided for getting a crap deal. Most times the deals aren't crap they just aren't the best possible deals, but who cares if both parties are happy.

Are there any chances of 2016 M3 being a 2 door convertible? That will piss many off. Although I've read that to accommodate M4, They've decided not to have a convertible M3 ever. Someone pls correct me here .

Isn't it!?! Car looks fantastic! We are already thinking about our "next" one when my wife's f34 is due for a replacement. I will probably do more like what you did and only drove in Germany and down to the passes (maybe rent something cool to do that with) and then drop back in MCH and do the trains/rentals etc. my car had 675 miles on the clock when I dropped in Nice. Interested to see when it comes in to SC. Read it could have up to 50 more miles on it which seems high.
