Dinan midpipe rattle

Hey all,

Got a dinan midpipe installed on my F80 and it rattles and clangs on hard turns. Had the shop revisit, they adjusted the chassis brace but it barely helped. Mentioned the extra washers as people have posted in other threads which they for some reason aren't doing.

At this point I dont want to keep taking it back. Should I just ask for a refund or any other opinions? Stock midpipe is gone.

Thanks

If its not the brace, there is a sharp bend that is very close to the undercarriage or maybe it was fuel tank heatshield. I cant remember but if you follow the pipes to the back, there is one bend that is very very close to contacting. I adjusted the midpipe away from there and tightened everything down. No rattles at all.

That's unfortunate. I have the VSRF single mid pipe and every now and then I get a solid clunking that I can actually feel in my seat. It almost always goes away quickly and usually only happens at low RPM and low speed. Not sure if that is the same thing or if yours was more of a continuous rattle that you can hear.

It was a rattle at low rpms 2-3k if I was in a higher gear and giving throttle. Also in sharp turns I'd hear a clang. I can't believe it's this hard for a simple mid pipe but I sleep better now lol
