ETA is July 1st, so we should have our cars that first week in July hopefully.

I highly doubt we'll have the car for the 4th, but if our ship arrives ahead of schedule, it is a possibility. But in reality, I'm just hoping to stay on schedule.
The car should spend at least a couple of days in VPC and then to get on a truck to the dealer in another day or two. So hopefully, the week of July 5th.

Go to: https://www.2wglobal.com/ and click on 'track and trace'. Enter your VIN under Cargo ID and click 'track' if it is in the system you will see what ship/date etc you are scheduled for. If it returns 'record not found' it means you haven't been entered into the system yet.

I doubt mine will be out by then. I did ED so I expect customs to go through it with a fine tooth comb. Also the drop off point in Munich noticed I had some curb rash on one rim so they marked that in my paperwork to be replaced/repaired. I expect that will take a few days alone in the VPC.

Interesting, so if you do damage on the car during ED, they fix it free of charge? there surely has to be a limit to this?

They fix it, you are covered by BMW for the first 14 days for free with a premium insurance. Anything past 14 days you have to pay for the insurance premium but it really isn't all that much out of pocket. For me, since I Was there less than 14 days I paid $0 for the insurance. When I return the car I just have to mark what external damage there was on the car and they fix it for free before re-delivery.

the only exception is interior damage, they only fix this if it is a cause of vandalism.

I hear you! Family member and I both ordered Ms. I ordered my M3 first week of April, he ordered his M4 two weeks later. He got his car a week ago and I'm still ~3 weeks out...

M4 allocations were easier to come by. I put my order in end of March. It's sad I'm missing all of the spring and some summer with the car

You're right about allocations, also possible contribution is that I ordered the CF roof.

Definitely sucks that we're missing spring and part of summer, but at least we're almost there!

I'll tell you who has it bad. My father, who got the M4 I mentioned earlier, is unable to drive it because he just had major knee surgery. So it's a nice decoration in his garage for the time being.
