EU6 engines, like the S55, allegedly do not need to be coded. There are other threads about it.

I was mistaken about the word coding......

It says:

Attention!

If a solenoid injector was renewed or replaced on the cylinder side, the ultra small quantity adaptation must be reset.

Reset ultra-small quantity adaptation:

Connect diagnosis system and follow the diagnosis instructions.

- Read out vehicle data

- Identification without vehicle test

- Start vehicle test

- Vehicle handling

- Service functions

- Power train

- Engine electronics

- Adjustment functions

- Delete adaptations

- Reset adaptation values

- Resetting minimum quantity adaptations

Reset adaptions is what I'm getting from this. S55 injectors do not need coding like they used to with the N54 platform.

m4dbimmer Did this solve your issue cause I am getting the same exact code 112601 and for the life of me cant figure out what is causing it, do the new injectors need coding? cause I reset adaptation with BM3 and am still getting this issue. I changed everything from spark plugs to coilpacks to all the injectors and the problem still persists, do they Injectors need to be coded or no? did you solve your issue?
