Agreed - they will sell them all. But mainly because supply is artificially limited - they know there’s not a market out there that can sustain a higher volume of units.
+1. And don't be surprised that there are ppl willing to pay above MSRP on these cars.

I would like to see how much markup on the M3/4CS when they hit the showroom floor next year. My local dealer still has an unsold GTS with 100k markup.

The car is not easy to drive fast and is not for everyone. But at 134k it's a bargain compared to the CS models.

Ok, yes I work at a car wash and wasnÂ’t impressed with the Pep Boys wing, or the cheesy GTS badging in 104 point font on the dash. Those things really didnÂ’t do it for me. How did you know?

You can love the car if you choose to do so - no need to disparage those who question its respective merits from an objective perspective.

But I see youÂ’re in Tampa - perhaps youÂ’re just a crotchety and lonely geriatric, but I donÂ’t presume to know.
Yeah I would much rather have walnut trim and 17" wheels on my car then what comes on the GTS. I think most people on this forum just complain because they don't have the means to get what they really want. Welcome to the internet in 2017. Time to go back to your room in your parents basement.

Serious track drivers have dedicated track cars, hobbyists have dual-use cars, and posers have vanity cars.

Everybody here is a hobbyist, which is what ///M cars are for and always have been.

Fixed that for you.

And my parents don’t have a basement, but that’s a good try.

This is the last time I will reply to you - I simply don’t think the car is worth the asking price, especially when it was new. And although prices seem to be dropping precipitously in the US, I still wouldn’t want one (I think it looks ridiculous).

M4/M3 CS in my opinion should have been the ZCP. At this price point I'd consider going to a P car or scooping up the new M5.

I talked to my CA two weeks ago about the selling price and discount on the GTS. He told me the dealership owner will probably keep the car as his collection if no one bites it. He is not in rush to sell it.

The Porsche provides meaningful upgrades over the base car for the price difference, while the CS does not.
Porsche does it right with the 991.2 GTS, they bundle options together and give you a GTS. Less expensive than if you ordered an S with all options a la carte.

991.2 GTS also gets larger turbos.

It’s definitely the “best bargain” for each line, that’s for sure.

I use to go to Dallas for business all the time. I think it's a huge shithole, but I guess you think it's worth living there. It's just my opinion.

So matter of fact, but such a shitty thing to say. btw, I really do think Dallas is dogshit.

Ha! Not gonna lie.. That is tempting.

But a GM performance car being heavily discounted is as predictable as the sun coming up tomorrow. I guess the the ZR1 also plays a role as well...

Well I guess we all do not understand why getting fucked in inckme tax and living amongst fake done up classless people in Orange County is attractive by any stretch of the imagination, but that is my opinion. You see how that is a completely idiotic and useless opinion? That is what you sound like attacking where he is from when he is talking about the value of a car.

Seems like your only arguments involve ad hominem attacks, so basically valueless, like the GTS.

Is basic spelling and grammar lost upon the average person? If you plan to throw a zinger at someone, at least have the presence to type it correctly. Or perhaps these basic skills aren't necessary in your line of work?

I have been to Orange County, at least the one in California, a few times, and I thought it was really nice. Perhaps you are more familiar with Orange County, Texas? I am not aware of a fascination with dogshit there, but hey - it's America and if you love shit, then you can roll in it all you want.

I grew up in Malibu and Orange County(Newport/HB area). Half of Orange County is a sh*tbox too. Dallas has nice areas and OC has nice areas.

I think he was just saying that because dmboone took a shot at Tampa.

I'm responding to douchebag's personal attacks on Tampa Post #196, and his personal (i mean internet) knowledge of all things GTS.
