It was a pleasure to finally meet you. Thanks again for the jacket! I'm on the wait list for the PCA this Saturday so hopefully see you then!

Had a lot of fun out there even in the rain. Larry thanks for the fun ride and ability to crash in your canopy. Can't wait for next season to be a full participant

drove out yesterday to ORP for track day with my friend and his dad who were driving their Lotus Exige S's. brought my camera along, here are some images as I wandered about the infield. temps were perfect, no wind, lovely day all round.

all images can be found here: http://bradleymclain.zenfolio.com/p34677517

Love ORP, and in the dozen days (or so) I've driven it, I learn so many cool nuances. My favorite is driving it counter-clockwise, and nailing the completely blind Valkyrie Hill at 130+mph. The compression you get at the bottom allows for physics-bending turning capabilities...

I had no idea that they let people wander in the infield. Did you get special permission?

i went to the office, and race control gave me a radio and rule sheet -- when i was ready to cross over i requested permission from the main tower. they seemed enthusiastic and encouraging -- probably good publicity.

i rode with my buddy in his Exige S clock-wise yesterday -- those turns, from the entrance to Valkyrie through the half-pipe, in a go-kart! i was slightly nauseous after the session, usually am when a passenger....I have heard that counter clock-wise is even more radical.
