Considering Purchase
Hi all. I am looking to pick up an F80 as a way to get back and forth to the office here and there as well as enjoy the fantastic roads that surround me here in North Georgia/West Tennessee/West North Carolina. I am considering this car (window sticker attached) with about 20k miles. Having been fanatical for E90 M3s for years, my F80 knowledge is comparatively minimal despite my research. I'd appreciate the brain trust's feedback.
Car seems to be maxed out aside from carbon brakes. It looks to be immaculate. My hesitation lies with it being a 2017 instead of 2018. Just how different (worse?) is the iDrive in 2017 vs updated 2018? This car has the Lighting Package with Adaptive Full LED lights - are the 2018 headlights better? I prefer the darker housing, but I'm not sure if it should be considered a deal breaker or not. I also don't have any experience with Black Sapphire Metallic. Plenty with Jet Black, Jerez, etc. Is this like Jerez with it being different colors dependent on light? Or is it just a more metallic black? What do you guys think? What would be a good value as well? 2017 F80 M3 ZCP w/DCT ~20k miles Full Merino Executive Package Driving Assistance Plus Lighting Package M Performance Package (carbon splitter, spoiler, MPE) Extra carbon bits (mirrors, interior) CarPlay 666 wheels |

Hey if you are at all interested I am selling a 2018 M3 Comp in Black Sapphire Metallic. Car currently has 38k miles on it and when I bought it with 19k on it. Let me know if you are at all interested and we could discuss further.
