That has nothing to do with our discussion about how certain colors articulate the lines of a car better than others. Two separate things!

I can somewhat see where you're going with this. The M3 does look a bit more dissimilar from the F30 than the M4 does from the F32.

I wish this guy crossed the street and snapped some shots with the sun behind him. I bet the MW would have popped pretty good on the drivers side profile.

I can appreciate that viewpoint. The sedan's fenders look more like a widebody "mod".

I think it is the haunches that doesn't do it for me on the M4. It looks like it has a fat ass, not a wide stance. The fender flares on the M3 look so much better. I guess I will need to wait to see them in person. Maybe I should make a road trip to Detroit this coming Jan . |

I do prefer the M4 however, I totally agree with this statement. I wish the M4 had the same ASS as the M3. The tucked in body with the fender flares is much more attractive than the "bloated" rear of the M4.

I think this is a very important point. The M4 pics seem to have been shot with a mobile phone with a wide angle/fish eye lens, which changes the proportion of the car.

M3 vs m4
I think it's a case of different strokes for different folks.. I need a sedan and am programmed to like the 4 door better... But the coupe looks good too... If everyone liked only one thing, we would only need one bodystyle.. Actually only one automaker at that
