I've never really seen anyone go from a 255/35 R19 to 255/40 R19 or 275/35 R19 to 275/40 R19. I'm guessing this is for road comfort?

Yes. It is for comfort. I am an old man and no need to have firm ride.
Also side effect ( good part ), it make speedo more accurate and looks like i lowered my car. Actually I got half inch height raise which give me less chance to scratch bumper. |
