For those who have sold a car or purchased one used, what classified listing sites should I consider? I'm on cars.com, autotrader and here. Was told about BMWCCA so will try there as well. If there are any others I am missing please fill me in. Thanks!

I sold my 335i recently. I used (1) eBay (2) cargurus.com and (3) cars.com. I had the most interest from eBay.

That said the used car market favors the buyer. People prefer to lease to keep the payment low, and they price (compare) the car without any options. Manufacturers and dealers are already getting more aggressive with discounts and there will be a huge increase in supply of used cars as people start returning leases in a few months.

I sold many cars and this time it was pretty challenging. Low ball offers, people unable to come up with cash/financing, and not a lot of interest. Everyone wants to get a great deal (under KBB). My other cars sold in 1-2 weeks - It took me a month to sell this car and I had to reduce the price drastically.

Good luck with the sale.

Edit: be ready for offers in the 55,000-60,000 range.

I think this hasn't been sold bc the price reflects the individual paint and accents. I see it as a M3 but would never pay 7000 for that

I sold all of my cars in here....

You bought a customized car which was worth $90K to YOU and decided to drive it only 1500 miles and try to sell it.

Been on the market for a year with no serious bites. Folks who want to buy a used M3 do not value the $5K paint job (which one would argue that is very close to YMB) and all the other goodies as much as you do vs an Alpine White one with 6M with little higher miles at say $10-$15K less... Thats just the reality in this used car market.

You need to adjust your price seriously or just start driving the car and enjoy your custom build which is what I would do.

Regardless, GLWS..... been watching this for a while.

Wow, hard to believe this car has been owned a year with only 1,600 miles on it. It barely got out for its first oil change before being locked up in the garage again, LOL. As hard as it sounds, either drive it or drop the price to dump it. I can see this car selling instantly at $68K but to keep it lingering on the market is such a shame. You should consider swapping out the MPE (with a local buyer) and lowering the price of the car to move it.

I?m going through the same issue trying to sell my 2012 335i. I really do believe it?s the used car market. I know personally if I came across my car in the similar fashion/age now, for the money I?m asking ? I?d be all over it. I remember buying my 2006 325i when it was four years old, for just a bit less (in the scheme of things.)

Hold out hope on unloading your LSB ? I?ve been eyeing it personally for the past ? however many months, but I?m in agreement that you?ll be hard pressed to get your asking.
