OS Giken or Drexler

Anyone has experience with OS Giken diff. Does it perform similarly as a Drexler diff or Drexler is a better unit.

Garage List
2019 BMW M4CS  [10.00]
I am also interested to know, I used OS Giken diffs and clutch in my STI and they were considered the best option for that platform.

I would mount Drexler without much thought, bmw sells it already installed and you don't have to worry about the installation.

Yes M2csr or M4 GT4 diff.
I don't know why the GT4 one costs 1000€ more, I guess it will have a more aggressive configuration.

I have csr mounted, and I am very happy, the best mod.

Before I was not in favor of going sideways in roundabouts, now I do them all sideways

Spectacular corner exit, lots of traction.

I installed a drexler diff (via Diffsonline)...felt a good difference/improvement in mid-corner to exit...and more predictable (no delay).

Did you pay this price? For this price you can buy 2 csr diffs.

Yes, but in $’s.

I don’t know details, but the CSR is different. Check with Diffsonline, BW, KMP, or Drexler directly.

if i remember correctly the csr setup is 50/40, so the only difference is the price.

Definitely run a Drexler 6-clutch diff if it’s for track use. If it’s primarily for street use then run a Quaife or Wavetec helical diff mainly due to better wear vs multi-clutch diff, instant torque transfer and less heat generation. Rebuilt M Var isn’t a bad option for street use only but Quaife or Wavetrac will have better lockup and torque transfer.
