has anyone looked into the possibility of a delay valve in the clutch line? I'm pretty sure most if not all newer cars have delay valves in the clutch lines which would usually cause the inconsistent clutch pedal engagement. A delay valve delete or stainless steel line swap would probably fix most of the issues described here.

I was sure the M cars never had a CDV, but never looked into the F8x cars as the previous M cars never had it as far as I knew. I never felt anything like a CDV in my mine, or inconsistent engagement point. Anyway, this thread discusses the CDV, or lack of. Its not a solid confirmation, just mentions that the clutch salve cyl is a common part on cars that are known to have a CDV. Still pretty sure the M cars do not have it.

***UPDATE***
Dealer has recommended me to reset my transmission adaptations and I booked an appointment for next week.... Anyone has any idea what this does? I read up on it a bit but mostly on the DCT. Lack of info on the 6MT trannies. |
