My experiences at concours have been mixed. I've owned 5 BMWs none of which were purchased at concours, yet I've tried to buy from them every time. Ultimately they are never able to beat International for price on either the car I wanted or the trade-in I had, or both. For example, Concours was going to try to trade for a 2015 M3 for me (this was in August of this year, as 2016's were being made). And Concours said they would only give me like $1500 off of MSRP. On last year's model.... But one thing I don't like about international autos is their "no guns allowed" signs. (personal preference obviously) Because, in the end, we all know how "safe" them gun free zones are. But besides that, they have been ok too, mixed experiences with them. My current vehicle was leased through them and my deal was OK, though getting them to show me the numbers they said I was getting took a bit of effort. But overall, a solid dealership to work with, and their pricing was decent. But the waiting they made me do seemed excessive during the process. And sitting there with two young children was not fun. Fields I bought one used BMW from them, and would probably not buy there again. I ended up buying the car from them reluctantly, and in hindsight given the opportunity again I would have passed. But I was blinded by the car that I so desperately wanted, and they took advantage of that. They also tried to mark up the finance rate for even more profit. So in the end, I have found my experience to be the best at concours, but for whatever reason they just never seem to be able to beat the price. International isn't as good, but their prices are better. As for Knauz, my experience there so far has been REALLY great, outside of their finance department trying to jack me on the lease money factor. But aside from that, the experience has been the best BMW experience thus far. Like I said, I went with Knauz cuz they had an M3 allocation. And Knauz is one of the biggest sellers of BMWs in the midwest. They sell somewhere around 150+ BMWs per month. So, it makes sense that they get M car allocations quite regularly. And they gave me the price I wanted on the M3 without a blink of an eye. I literally called them, asked if they had an allocation, then told them I'd put money down today if they could give me $2000 over invoice. (Not the GREATEST but definitely fair.) They agreed on the price with no haggling at all, and within a few minutes they emailed me the paperwork so I could fill it all out. I had my production number by that evening. I would consider buying future BMWs from Knauz simply because of how easy it has been to work with them, and because of the no hassle on the pricing. From what I hear, non M cars their finance department is reasonable, but for whatever reason on M cars they want to jack the base rate. After some badgering I got them to come down from .0017 to .0015 on the M3 lease (the base is .0013), but in the end I am probably going to finance with PenFed because of their finance department not giving me base MF. But again aside from that, because they are a high volume dealership, they are much more aggressive on pricing good deals, and the service I have received has been great. And service aside, price > all. And I think it will be a cold day in hell before concours or international are willing to compete with Knauz on price. I gaurantee if I'd said $2k over invoice on a 2016 M3 allocation, International and Concours probably would have laughed at me over the phone. Last edited by Bmwguy11; 09-28-2015 at 10:14 AM.. |

Damn, wishing I had the LEDs now. Any idea why they don't come "coded" from factory if they have this capability ?

Cuz our US DOT needs to waste a billion dollars "studying" how they work and making BMW pay lots of money to get them "approved" and crap. So they have to decode the feature for US bound vehicles.
