Agreed! One SA in particular attempted to guilt me into a vehicle purchase; initials JM.

I am fairly certain Jason is no longer there. If we are referring to the same Jason. There was a Jason that was in the Farmington Hills service department for years. One day I was casually browsing in the Lamborghini dealership close to Somerset mall and what do you know?! He is a sales guy there now.
And I agree with the sentiments, Chad is terrific. He follows up accordingly, friendly and straight forward personality, and just easy to work with. Not what I would consider a car guy per se, just in regard to chit chat on vehicles and what not. Though I'd imagine working in the environment would eventually desensitize you after a while. But he does his job, and does it very well thus, been my go to guy there for around a decade (I hate that I can say that lol).

Oh, and for sales, ask to speak with Tom. Tell him Chris referred you and he will take great care of you. He I also have worked with exclusively for, well longer than I care to remember. He's been around for a long time, so he's not the guy you'll see in the parking lot. He's been around so I would guess his clients are mainly by referrals.
The way I see it, BMW's sell themselves. A sales person need be knowledgeable of the product, and get to know the client to provide the proper product to meet their wants/needs. I've never understood that aggressive sales crap some try to pull. That shuts me down instantly.

I shopped all over for my M4. No MI dealer would budge from MSRP. Not even Erhard, which has been my dealer for the last 7 years. Disappointing. I guess the supply/demand in MI favors dealers, and I'm sure they all agree not to step on each others' toes. I ended up going with an out of state dealer.

TI.3VOM, I ordered mine at $500 over ED price from Erhard BH.

I take delivery in about 4 weeks. Anyone planning any meets in late February, early March? I was thinking of going to Frankenmuth for a couple of steins of Warsteiner and a Bavarian chicken dinner to celebrate the occasion.

Id certainly be interested in a meet up that way! I plan to take the family up once the weather becomes a bit more agreeable.

I can recommend Harold Shepherd at Grand Blanc BMW. I bought several cars from him, but I moved to Ohio 13 months ago and bought my M3 there. I still keep in touch with him though. Great guy, very knowledgeable, and a straight shooter.

Michigan Roll-Call

Picking up my AY M4 in 2 weeks from Erhard. Just wanted to throw out a Michigan roll-call to see who is here with an F80 or F82. Wanted to organize a couple local meet-ups.

After I had participated in the NC area for a while, I moved to MI... and now am (if I cross check the received cars thread) one of the very few that owns an F80 here.

I believe, the fewer people got one, the more intense this special group has to be / gather.

Do you guys have any meet-ups planned for this year already somewhere in the region? I'm in need of fellows around once I get my car back out of the garage (after winter and heavy salting is over)...

Congrats everyone to their orders and already received cars!

I would be up for a meet-up in the near future. This cold is unbearable though. Anyone know of a heated parking structure? Lol

If you're "too" light, let us know. We are light here in Ohio too, especially the NE. We could think about a joint MI/OH meet in the Toledo/ Detroit area.

Agree with ChrisMT79 about the cold though. Enough already!!!

Yeah, I'm in for the meet up. I pick up my car on Monday.

How about Eastern Market? Some great photo ops there.

Throwing out some feelers - anyone want to meetup on Saturday March 14th?

My office is in downtown Royal Oak, we could meetup there (or anywhere downtown) and maybe grab a pint at the RO brewery.

I ended up not picking up an M3, but I have a C63 507 edition. Is it ok if I crash your meet?

I am in for the 14th. So that's three of us plus the AMG

Looks like there are at least a half dozen on the forum, would be cool to get a group and do pics. Some of the guys from the beginning of this thread haven't chimed in for a while - pharm, Racer, Floridagator, you guys drive the beasts in the winter?

I'm sure I'll manage.
The earlier it is on the 14th, the better it is for me. Hoping for warmer sunny days soon. I've had enough of this winter.

I'm not in the country on the 14th, but I hope it won't be the last meet-up.
