It's kind of upsetting how bad the E30 gets spanked

It would be more upsetting to me if it didn’t get spanked that bad.

Why is it upsetting? It's still the best M3 ever made! Enjoyment does not translate well in a drag race.

Not a bad one in the bunch. The E30 was never really about straight line speed, so no surprise there. Would have to get a manual in that E46 though.

How on earth did this tater determine "anyone that complains about turbo power is crazy"!?!? Did he not happen to notice that the NA V8 M3 he was driving had just as big of a lead on its NA predecessors?

Interesting that they didn't do a retake to get more correct times out of all of the cars. The E46 and E92 times were wayyy off.

The E92 is tough to launch the E46 is easily over one second slower 0 to 60...

These newer cars can really put the power down.

That second race. So the transmission with the fastest kick down wins? *

Still trying to figure out where anyone would use that style.

It is? Huh. My e92 is stock but with better tires and i just mash the gas and it goes no wheel spin. On the vbox i get 4.1 seconds 0-60mph everytime which compares to 4.0 in my i8 using launch control. Both do the 1/4 mile in 12.3 seconds at 113mph. Not sure what happened in this vid with the e92 GTS but i was expecting high 11's (if i was the driver) not 13.5. That was completely embarrassing.

Yeah great tires make a huge difference.

Does your E92 have the DCT?

You get 4 sec 0-60 in your i8?
Yeah 4.0 pretty sad for a car with a $148msrp. My 991 GT3 with the same $148msrp gets low 3's and modded Turbo S low 2's.
