What an amazing way to document a truly once in a lifetime (or six) adventure. I have been telling my wife for years this is on my bucket list to do a Euro delivery and spend ~2 weeks in Europe. You pretty much captured every part of the trip I would want to do.

I might have to PM you and ask more in depth questions but for now just a couple:

- Roughly how much time did you spend in Europe overall to accomplish your travel destinations?
- Was the general Euro delivery experience positive I assume?
- What is your take on driving the car through Europe essentially brand new? I've always been worried that by the time I get back it would be full of dings and scratches and when the car finally makes it to the US it's far from new. I've wondering if you can get a clear bra locally installed at Munich before attempting such a haul around.

Reading/viewing this was totally worth the $100 in data overages I'm sure to incur from the photos! Thanks for sharing; it looks like an awesome trip. So much so, in fact, that I'm absolutely adding Hotel Madatsch and your drive to my next ED plans. 2020 here we come!

Thank you for sharing. Had to read the post twice to fully appreciate how much thought went into it. Speedometer at 160 was the very definition of priceless.

Epic trip AD !! Can't wait to see it when it arrives on US soil. I'm sure we'll talk in a couple of weeks.

I'm glad you could experience the trip of a lifetime.

great trip! My ED trip is in 9 days, you pretty much covered most of my trip besides the f1 races and Nice, France. I'm just hoping for clear skies and no snow.

I'm even more excited for my trip now and thanks for sharing your experience in such detail, don't think I'll be able to document as well.

I have my go pro, drone & iPhone ready to go though

Thank you.

PM me anytime. We spent 11 days in Europe. Due to race weekend logistics we couldn’t spend 2 days at the Ring, but when we do it again in the future (and we will) then I would definitely spend a whole weekend there.

Very much so. Now granted, 2 dudes have far fewer restrictions in terms of food, lodging and the acceptable level of discomfort on a trip like this compared to if we were taking the families. So we took advantage of that and crammed as much as we could into it.

We weren’t disappointed, and at no time did we think it was too much. On the other hand if it’s your first time in Europe it may make sense to space things out a little more.

First off, it creates a bonding experience with the car that you just don’t get otherwise. At the end of the trip it’s more like a cherished pet than an inanimate object (and no I haven’t named the car).

In previous euro deliveries I’ve had the occasional bumper ding or scratched wheel, mostly due to my careless parking maneuvers. This car has cameras which made parking easy. It’s the first time I’ve dropped off a car without a single scratch on it. If you drive there is the summer and follow cars in front conservatively then you shouldn’t get any road rash, but if you are paranoid about these things you ca always get a clear bra installed locally.

I’d say it can happen, but it’s massively outweighed by the rest of the experience.

I absolutely need to do this. I think that doing this trip with a friend that loves cars renders the experience much more car focused than going there with your family.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us.

Your pictures are awesome.

This does remind me of doing an ED while I still can.

But I have to say Monza was a heart break this year for our Ferrari fans!
