Who should I contact for a custom tune?

Who is the best custom flash tuner for power and/or reliability these days? I'm looking to run bolt ons with E85 on stock turbos, would like to see peak 590+whp.

Recommend BM3 Flash with CaryTheLabelGuy for tuning. 590whp is a lot to ask from stock turbos.

Active Autowerke for reliability, but those numbers are unrealistic for stock turbos.
Have you had your car on a dyno before?

I don’t think they’re unrealistic numbers from Cary. My friends experiences with him say He definitely goes balls to the wall with the tune. So if you’re looking for that, he’s a good option.

Paul Johnson (F80Paul) and Halim Cazimi (Halim@HCP) if you want proven street/track results.

Check this thread to see which tuners are most involved with the fastest lap times:

I'm running CaryTheLabelGuy... I conservatively hit 581 whp on my personal car with Akrapovic Full Exhaust + MSR Intake. Highly recommend him!

AA will tailor the map to the customer's requests so in a way its a custom tune.

Does AA actually request for data logs to tailor these maps? is there even a way to data log with their tuning software, or are we considering flash features as part of custom tuning now?

I would not consider it a complete custom tune since they dont look at datalog, but they will do the changes based on your request whether its more/less power, or any setting.

That same argument is used against remote custom tuning by dyno tuners. They say since the car is not on a dyno , its not a full custom tune.

So OP asked for a custom full E85 tune at roughly 590whp. Are you saying AA is able to provide this type of tune upon request?

Also, dyno tuning is based on present atmospheric conditions in a controlled environment (fans blowing right at the engine) -- the real world results would be completely different, which is exactly the reason why weekly Test N Tune events exist to allow real tuners to fully dial in their calibrations.

With that said, it would be safer to say that a street tune is a much more complete custom tune than say a dyno tune that's probably geared towards bragging right numbers. For reference, majority of the F8x S55 WR holders were done primarily on a street tune.
