First time at Sandown

Rotors and Calipers were cooked for most of the faster sessions.

I'd say car has another 2-3 seconds in it with anything but the stock brakes and some more track time & 4+ with a pro driver (not bad for a road car!)

Update on the AP Racing kit: Had some teething issues and the right caliper and pad combo seem to be doing some funky stuff to the rotors which we have already replaced once. Really important to note that the braking force required is quite different and takes some getting used to but the brakes are definitely better.

Sandown time now reduced to a 1:18.91 but we are approaching the ceiling of the car.

Low 18 high 17 is capable on semi slicks.

Full slicks will get the car down to a a low 17 maybe a high 16.

Well you can look at that 2 ways. Yes it is more unsprung mass. However, assuming that weight is not in the hat (which is unlikely), then it is more thermal mass which is a good thing.

Honestly, if you were forced to put a couple of kgs ballast in your car, the discs would be one of the best places

I've used the dba 5000's on other cars, very good product. They used to have a cross drilled version which was terrible, would crack very easily. The slotted ones are great

Not sure yet. Family has an Auto workshop, rotors came through a DBA supplier (repco, bursons etc) but I think around $1200 ish. I'll post pad and rotor costs when I get them all, and guess costs on 3d printing cooling ducts
