Where have all the tires gone?!?

I'm desperately waiting to get some 4S's but at this point I'll take anything close to that. I need track tires for my 513m's. Does anyone have any idea when new supplies will be coming in?

275 & 295/35/18.

Can't find rear 4S's anywhere. Have a rear flat and am having to go with a PSS as a replacement. One place I called said Michelin's and Toyo's are super delayed now.

There has been some sort of shortage, even from 2020 when I got my 4S. They had to come from like 4 different warehouses or something on the east cost to come here to the west coast.

I got Goodyear Supercar 3 tires. Not in this size though. They are positioned between Michelin's Cup2s and 4S. Will see how they do this track/autox season. They won't be as durable as the 4S for sure, but I expect a better grip.

Have you tracked with this setup? Based on tiresize.com the fronts are -1.5% and the rears are +2.2% in diameter. Curious if you had any issues with ABS or TC.

Yes I track with this setup. I don't recommend TC use on track even in the rain. No issue with abs. Hankook has recommended this setup. I was running 285/35 rear and prefer the balance with 295/40 rear. (Less likely to understeer)

a lot of people who don't drive their cars had are replacing what the tire rack said of using All season pilots with 540 wear ratings.. I don't drive my card like track or street racing.. can these work even though the A/S tires are master of none? its the same radius as MPSS and PS4 - 28.3. my rears of my F83 can be stretched by mid summer tops.. after that.. I'll need rear tires at least.. I don't want to mix summer in front and A/S in the back.

If you drive your car like a calm person on the road you probably wouldn't notice the missing traction for going to All Seasons. If you drive spirited, you'll notice the missing traction when you give it more gas or corner more aggressively.

For me, my PS4s still struggle for traction sometimes so I wouldn't trust All Season compounds because I drive spiritedly like 90% of the time.
