They figured, well hell so many Ms in F8x gen seems to like them why don't we just make one too? Boom, Lime Rock Gray.

Individual colors is exactly as the title states, it's an individual choice. Who the fuck said you should do it if you don't like it? Why are there SO many whiners on the forums that seems to feel like BMW should be way more charitable when it comes to what they offer? The fact is normal buyers that aren't on the forums buy White, Black, Metallic Grey way more than AY, SO or YMB.

If they don't like it, well fucking tough okay? BMW isn't a fucking charity, they are a corporation and at the bottom line they make money. I don't see people here bitch about Porsche and how they gouge you w/ options. Options that are normally standard for other brands are an option for Porsche and that is literally where ALL of their profit comes from.

To all you lemmings on the forums whining about every little thing. Deal with it. The world doesn't cater to you. Stop bitching. FFS. Everyone on Bimmerpost seems to want BMW to give them things for free, that isn't how the world works.

Edit: I want to do ED eventually too. Would love to do that...
Is it the same thread we are talking about? I just saw the guy didn't get the stitching that he ordered and they gave him the usual run around at first.

The rest I agree with from a business standpoint. I got tired of it though and voted with my wallet. Porsche is insane as well and that has kept me from getting a 911 a couple of times now.

And the corruption. Mind-boggling. Two years ago I'd have said nobody could be the Clintons - Trump not only beats them, he openly exceeds them by orders of magnitude.

And then Billy Graham's kid saying Trump is cool because "while he doesn't live the faith, he defends the faith". Isn't that the very definition of a demagogue and a "deal with the devil"? Isn't that like Adam and Eve 101? Has he read the Bible? Cause it's pretty specific that that's evil thinking.

Matthew 7:15-20

We've gone down that road before in a religious thread plus other ones in the poly/sci section. The consensus is most religious (Christians) support him and don't see anything wrong with his actions in regards to his faith. But, remember they dismiss anything negative about Trump as "fake news." Like most thing about Trump, US Christians and their supporters I don't get it.

Right.

Which is ultimately a personal character problem for those people as character is about adherence to principles, integrity, and honor.

We live in the Great Age of Equivocation where people routinely trade their character for some false notion of identity and rationalize it. It's what happens before societies fail because, ultimately, a society is based on mutual agreed principles.

Hell, in Atlanta we've got "conservative" members of government pressuring a private business and threatening the with governmental penalty!

Again, how does any principled conservative in government threaten a private business??? That's like the very definition of an oppressive government, aka radical liberalism.

In short, nobody has principles they'll defend any more.

We live in an era of equivocating cowards.

Agreed, it is the ultimate age of hypocrisy. Like you say about teams, it’s ok as long as my team is doing it.

It’ll be interesting to see what his base thinks about his latest gun control/NRA/Trump version of justice. He said something to the effect as take away the guns first and then worry about due process later. As a New York Times writer tweeted, can you imagine of Obama said that?

Oh, I was talking about the Individual thread on the General subforum.

The amount of those opinions I saw there just irritates me.

Then again it's tax season so things annoy me in general.

Everything came out fine for me. The only thing that I messed up on was an individual interior request that didn't go through. It was actually my fault because I wasn't clear on what I asked (I'm not lying I was confused too) so that didn't go through. Otherwise everything else was alright.

Also, GrussGott did tel me to do it a certain way, especially for interior things so there is no real confusion. Which he meant by sending a picture/photo thing to your CA to make 100% sure it's what you want to be added in.

I didn't do so. I got a photo and tried to convey my message that way. Obviously that didn't work.

As much as i don't like Trump, in only this one way - Guns - he's actually showing breakthrough leadership.

Don't believe me?

Here's what he said today - and read it!
"We have to do something about it. We have to act.

We can’t wait and play games and nothing gets done. And I really believe that the people — this is bipartisan. It’s a bipartisan meeting. We’re going to discuss safe schools and we can really get there. But we have to do it.

We don’t want to wait two weeks, three weeks, four weeks and people sort of forget and we go on and then have another problem. We want to stop the problems from happening. As we continue to mourn the loss of so many precious young lives in Parkland, Florida, we’re determined to turn our grief into action. I really believe that. I think that the people at this table want it. I mean, I see some folks that don’t say nice things about me, and that’s okay. Because if you turn that into this energy, I’ll love you. I don’t care. We’ll be able to do it. Sadly, these horrible mass shootings are nothing new.

Look at Columbine, Colorado. Bill Clinton was president. Virginia Tech, George Bush. Ft. Hood, Sandy Hook, San Bernardino, Pulse Nightclub and so many more. It’s ridiculous.

So today we’re here on a bipartisan fashion to show leadership in an effort to end the senseless violence. It can be ended. And it will be ended.

.......

I know, Senator, you’re working on things. Joe, I know you’re working. I mean, I’m looking at a number of folks around the table. You’re working in different bills. We have to get them done. We have to get them done. And they have to be strong. Background checks — hey, look, I’m the biggest fan of the second amendment. Many of you are. I’m a big fan of the NRA. I had lunch with them, with Wayne, Chris and David, on Sunday and said, it’s time.

We’re going to stop this nonsense. It’s time. So, we made suggestions to many of you. And I think you’re going to put a lot of those suggestions in place. You’re going to have your own ideas. Certain ideas sound good but they’re not good. You can harden the sight to a level nobody could get in. Problem is if the shooter is inside and he gets in the door and closes the door, we can’t get people in. It’s going to cost hundred of millions of dollars all over the country and we’ll have nice hard sites.

The door closes and now we can’t get in, have to send the tractor through the walls. So we have to be careful of that. We have to create a culture that cherishes life and human dignity. We’re all going to sit around and come up with some ideas. Hopefully, we can put those ideas in a very bipartisan bill. It would be so beautiful to have one bill that everybody could support as opposed to, you know, 15 bills.

Everybody has their own bill. If we could have one terrific bill that everybody — started by the people around this take. Special people. These are the people that seem to be most interested, very interested in this problem. It’s a big problem. So, with that, I think I would like to start. Maybe you can ask John, you can start off and we’ll go back and forth. We’ll leave the media for a while and they can leave us with some thought. There’s something that can be done."
whatever you may think of Trump, if he can make this happen it'll be a historical accomplishment.

minn19, check out Sen Klobuchar

I mean Trump is fucking nuts, but so are the gun nuts and all their crazy bullshit, so maybe Trump's exactly what's needed

that is the most bizarre governmental transcript I've ever read ... but in a good way I guess ...

quick observation from the depths of Trial Week 6: don't fall for it.

Here is my evergreen reminder that Trump's occasional intelligent utterance does not mean:

(a) he means what he said;
(b) he understands what he said;
(c) he will do what he said;
(d) he ever had any intention to do what he said;
(e) he didn't just say random words that popped into his head;
(f) he had in any way thought through what he said, what it means, or what its implications are;
(g) he won't get explained to him by one of his (ever shifting/changing/revolving) advisors that he didnt mean what he said;
(h) one of those advisors won't promptly explain to the media and GOP that trump did not mean what he said - that, in fact, he meant the exact OPPOSITE of what he said;
(i) he himself won't deny the next hour/day/week that he said what he was just recorded as having said; and
(j) he won't immediately 'pivot' by creating another equally large media/twitter/public outrage by doing something just as stupid

...thus starting the cycle all over again.

Put another way: don't have hope, don't have faith. We should have all learned the lesson by now about what to do with anything this man says.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me 19,352 times, just fucking kill me already.

Back to trial.

You put yours, mine are busy!

Turns out I approached the house drawing project all wrong. Outsourcing is the way to do!

"guys, mom is taking a ton of heat for this and I need a pic so I can do the budget. If only someone could help me, I'm sure i could put the 15 minutes of computer time on hold for the spring break (they're having one now) and everyone working on it can stay up as late as they want to until it's done."

I actually got a picture yesterday, I checked the measurements and I have yet to find one with a mistake. I also got feedback about my patience when it comes to drawing on any method. I was rated as a pathetic failure which I thought was a kind grade.
