Dashboard leather stain - How to fix?

Was working on audio equipment and when removing trim panel, scratched the leather with one of the clips. Stupidly and without thinking I rubbed the dented area with a micro fibre cloth and water. I guess I might have put to much force in the rubbing and this has left me with a weird shiny stain. I tried rubbing alcohol and a magic eraser without success.

Is there anyway of fixing this or is the leather ruined?

You could give Colourlock a go. I think it could work / help & there is no chance of it making it worse.

Your leather isn't ruined. The products and rubbing just increased the sheen so its shiny. I've had an interior auto repair specialist repair a nasty gash I put in one of my older cars. I couldn't believe he made it look like it never happened. He even got the texturing to match using a sponge.

You can solve this problem is you find the right guy. If you find the wrong one, they'll make it worse.

I tried a lot of things and ultimately just swapped dash for a new one

I still have the old dash, if you ever remember that would be great!

I can't remember the repair man. Plus, I don't think it would do you much good in Europe.
