Can you put yellow DRL's on a 2016 f80 pre LCI headlights?

Are there any yellow or RGB boards for my DRL's?

This is the only thing similar to what I’m looking for. They have an option for LCI2 Ikon Adaptive LED Headlights and LED Non-adaptive Headlights but they say 2018-2020 and have pics of pre LCI headlights like mine.
Will this work for my car?

Yes there are yellow DRL boards for your headlights. Don't buy those bayoptics ones. First they're just bought from AliExpress and marked up 2x. Second, they're not the right ones, they will not fit.

Reach out to IceDriver on AliExpress and they will link you the correct ones.

Be aware that Icedriver told me for these pre-lci headlights they need to be opened to install the modules.

What does that mean? I pulled my module out to check it just like they did with the LCI version. Everything looks the same except the shape/size of the module

it sounds like he is saying for the RGB model you need to open them to get all that crap in there. I could be wrong though.

Seller said the lemon yellow or any other one color is easier install with less work so now I’m trying to return these and get lemon yellow but seller won’t allow.

these could be an alternative as well? F30 LCI Adaptive LED should be the same as ours, from a technical perspective

Could potentially work. I don’t think anyone has tried it yet. I posted mine for sale, if anyone buys it I’ll try my luck with these.

The links I see are for the xenon. What about the pre lci leds like on the 2016?
