Wow, I’d be gutted if this happened on mine.
Considering BMW don’t usually warranty these sort of defects I’ll be interested to see how you guys get on.

BMW isn't going to warranty these issues because it's caused by rocks hitting the disc at an angle. Same with the scores, the won't warranty them. They left us 3mm of clearance, but it's not their fault if a rock gets stuck in there.

Fuck that sucks. I am far out of warranty (2015 with 38k miles). Scary to think, but If this happens to mine I’ll just swap to M2C rotors. These ceramics seem like a liability sometimes.
