I spoke with someone and in theory the 70s are too small, but I ordered them anyway and will try it out. He was very surprised with the 71.5 measurement KW gave me and highly questioned if the diameter was correct...we will see soon enough.

This is a relief... I was scared I was the only one lol. I've had the same experience with the clicking/popping/pinging noise and every time I hear it I feel like my car is going to fall apart lol.. hate noises.

Anyways, excited to hear about the 70s so I can order a pair! did they work out?

he guys,
I got the sheets 2 days ago. if a whopping $25 set of parts does the trick im going to be ecstatic. between my wife having surgery 2 days ago and snow here in Tulsa, it will probably be next week before I can get the car up on a lift and mess with these. ill report back asap...fingers crossed!

from talking to people so far it seems to be hit or miss on whether you get noise...some have lots of noise like me, and others nothing....really looking forward to a solution b/c I really do like the feel of the car with the HAS.

I decided to go to KW Clubsports instead of the HAS. I just can't stand the noise. It devalues the car and makes me not want to drive it. I hope these thrust sheets solve your issue. I have a theory though ... all you dropped all the way down on the front? I am and I think that might have something to do with the noise.

I can understand your opinion on the noise and just have in my head I can find a fix one way or another if I thought there wasn't a fix I think id be forced to go to the eibachs. I am actually not lowered all that much. I went HAS from h&r to have less drop as I wasnt as happy dd'ing with the h&r's around town. My best estimate is I'm dropped right about the eibach drop..about .75" & .25"

im lowered all the way in the front I believe and luckily im getting no sound. I planned on swapping to tc kline 2 way adjustable coilovers or KW clubsport sometime before Christmas or so. how are the clubsports for daily drivability? (I have the passive suspension and I don't find them too stiff at all)

properly matched spring and shock combo is the way to go in all honesty, a spring only kit is a waste of money most of time in terms of handling improvement.

However, be prepare for some increase in NVH if you go with something like KW CS or TCK DA, since they come with solid bearing camber plate.

this cars NVH is already high. I doubt it'll make more noise then it already does. and if it does its just adding to all the noise that's already there a good trade off if the handing is that much better
