Spark plug gap question:
I searched the maintenance and tuning sections and couldn't find an answer: I bought plugs from the dealership 2 months ago and checked the gap. They were all at .028 so I installed them. I have no issues on my stock engine. If they were gapped to .020 as many others set them to, would there be ANY noticeable difference in performance? |

No. You only gap them tighter, when you're tuned. Tuning gives more boost which in turn can blow the spark out, tightening the gap makes it harder to blow out.

Does anyone know what gap the service manual calls for?
I ask because I bought oem plugs and they were all pre gapped to 0.032 I had the dealership save my old plugs and there were all 0.028ish A m4 local to me said his was more towards 0.022 I'm wondering if the dealership has protocol to change gap or leave and install at 0.032 |

Like I said, I discuss it at the beginning of the video. Based on recommendations for Dinan Stage 3 tuning.
