Slip on Exhaust Tips but Missing Centering Pin

Hey everyone! I had a question for you guys to see if you guys have any good ideas on this issue for me.

I bought these tips which look awesome!

Here is my issue. I bought my car pre-owned and it came with the CF M Performance tips. Not sure if they are real or fake but they weren't taken care of the best so I decided to switch it up. I had my body shop switch them out and it was all good for a few months. Recently though I have gotten out of my car and noticed the tips rotated or all the way upside down, especially the far right (passenger) side tip usually is the one that moves the most. I took the tips off and see they are held by some metal clips. I also noticed these tips have a slot for some sort of centering pin but my exhaust doesn't seem to have one for that. From their support they said the stock ones have some sort of centering pin and the slot in the tips is for that to go in and lock in place so it doesn't move.

Now my question is do I need to go to some different type of tip that isn't just held on by these clips? I know the ones that were on my car before had some sort of screw or pin or something at the bottom that kept them locked in place. Why is my centering pin missing? Anyone with knowledge would be really helpful because I love the tips I have but it is stressful getting out of the car every other time and seeing a tip all the way upside down.

Thanks!

First of all, the pin is only to center the stock tips, they are holding themselves with the internal metal clips and the pin isn't necessary as additional fix point.
When they are missing, I would assume that someone had removed them for installing 3rd party tips with surrounding clamps. Those are almost longer than the stock ones and when you leave the pins, they would appear more longer outside as intended.
My 3rd party tips are short enough to keep the pins and they are fixed with clamps. No sure how to replace them w/o welding but Im affraid that just putting a screw through it, isnt just enough.

Ended up being cause I have MPE. MPE tips don’t have the pin. Decided these slip on exhausts are just not made for this tip so switched back the to the CF MPE tips.
