2016 F82 with ID5, can I get carplay if I upgrade to ID6_lite?

As title. I have an 2016 M4 build, and I want to have carplay if possible. If I upgrade to ID6_lite will that be an option?

Are you replacing your NBT EVO with the NBT EVOII? Otherwise, no.

How can Bimmertech add CarPlay on their NBT EVO (ID 4 IIRC) retrofit kits with a 2015 HU

You need to ask them how they solved the memory problem of the NBT EVO.

I'm sure they won't reveal "trade secrets", but clearly it's working as seen on my dash above on the HU I pictured.
