Hey guys... I'd love to have brunch st the publican with everyone but there will NOT be enough parking on the street for all of us on a Sunday and we MUST have an accurate headcount to reserve our table ahead of time.

For those reasons, I suggest we find somewhere with enough parking or try to negotiate with a nearby parking lot if we are indeed locked into brunch at the publican.

Eugene, you are ruining my dream of pulling up to the Publican 20 cars deep like a boss and stuffing my face full of bacon!

Just a heads up, I called the Publican and the largest party size they can accommodate would be 12 people on the 12th and that would be at 9:00 am, maybe 9:30 if we didn't mind sitting at two tables. Nothing for a party that size after noon either.

I called Carnivale, down the street from the Publican, and they could probably get us in around 1:30 or 2:00 but it would be at 2 or 3 tables. I called there only because they are also near the paid lot on Fulton Market and Halsted.

Any other suggestions? I think it will be difficult finding a place in the city with parking for 20 cars and enough room for a group of that size. Maybe we can get a more accurate headcount for brunch and we will have a better idea. Another poll?

Honestly, I think we are going to be hard-pressed to find a place that has both parking and seating available close to the city. Although, I would really like to see if anyone has any good suggestions. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind doing a cruise to Evanston or somewhere on the outskirts.

In any case, I will have 1 car and 2 people.

Jason's Deli on Roosevelt has plenty of parking.
chitownm.com has had meets there with over a dozen cars.

Nice! Yeah, sorry about the date change, it is Sunday April 12th @ 10am. I wouldn't be surprised to see 30+ cars show up.
