Contis DWS 06 or Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus?

I needed a winter set up for my F82. I have a SUV for snow driving and won't be using M4 in snow so needed 255/275 staggered all season set up. I ordered Contis DWS06 on tirerack but the 275s are on back order and will be available min December. Tire-rack gave me the option to wait or to change my order to Pirelli P Zero AS plus.

I have heard some excellent reviews from forum members regarding Contis DWS06. Does anyone have experience with Pirelli P zero AS for dry winter driving? Should I wait for DWS06 or not?

Thanks

I have the DWS06 on my 330xi that is used for a daily. Very soft sidewall on these. Road noise is an issue after about 20k miles. I am not ordering these for my f80 winter wheels. I would go with either michelin or pirelli.

Be interested to see what others have to say. Yes, they are cheap, but not by a lot compared to other tires.

I did not. I will be going with Michelin PSA4 on the F80. 285/35(r) and 265/35(f). I would rather spend the extra $200 and know they will perform.

Are you ordering these from tire-rack?

Who said to get the DWS06 because it's cheaper? The DWS06 is the best high performance all season tire for winter/snow conditions. The Pilot Sport All Season 4 is better in dry and summer conditions but doesn't even come in stock sizes.

That's why I went with DWS06. I did a pretty detailed homework and everyone spoke highly of these tires in the all season category.

First off, the PSAS4 is an all season tire that can perform year round(low temps). Like me, he has other vehicles to drive in the SNOW. I should of clarified I have 18" Vorsteiners that will be wrapped in PSAS4 that come in that size. I have these tires(DSW06) on the beater BMW I drive daily. They do not perform well compared to Michelins. If you drive in a straight line.. have at it. You get what you pay for in this situation.
