F8x w/ carbon fiber splitters and CS lip?

Hey all –

My F80 came with the plastic bmw chin spoiler and the CF splitters.

I've been considering going with a CS lip, but wondering if the CF splitters will fit / look good.

Has anyone done this, or attempted it? (CS Lip with CF Splitters)

Example of what I had before...

Yeah I heard they slip right under but make sure you don't get the eBay ones cause not all of them line up with a CS lip

The M-Performance splitters changes the shape of that bumper area -- it protrudes a lot more forward and downward than stock. So any lip that is mounted directly to the shape of the OEM bumper, will not be able to add on the MP Splitters without modifications. Basically, you will have to trim the lower part of the splitter to fit around the lip.

Unless you want to just jam the splitter in between the bumper and lip and force it to work with screws... which "can" be done but you will have a gap.

Here's how I trimmed it to fit over my APR lip (same concept but different amount to trim).

Awesome, thanks for the tips, and the pics x.shell
I'll definitely "dry fit" before anything to see if i like the look.
