It was metal, and I hear you about it being super sharp and stabby. I can’t find the exact one I used, I actually used two different sizes. If you search “black hexagon metal mesh grill” you should be able to see the stuff. We will see how it holds up.

No leaf blower or compressed air is going to clean these areas out properly without removal of the bumper. Added mesh lower grills as well as upper kidneys. It’s hard to notice they are even there. But I hope this will give me a little extra protection from track rubber and big bugs from flattening cooling fins. |

You can clean it all out without removing the bumper. For the areas on the side you can blow from behind the wheel wells and blow all that shit out towards the front. That is if you have a compressor or something other than a vacuum. That is if I remember correctly.
