8 color ambient lighting install

coding colors into IDrive and it comes with few colors such as
Blue
Purple
Orange
Yellow
White
Green and all color can be changed to automatic

It really ain’t that great, I was looking forward to the lighting in the G82 and it was a letdown honestly. There aren’t even lights in the backseat like the F82, all lights are in front (G80 might be different). It was pretty underwhelming to be honest.

I think its better this way tbh. I left this aftermarket one unplugged for the rear door cards in my personal M4. It was too much light behind me while I was driving. Kinda distracting tbh. I wonder if that was also the case with bmws engineers.

When it's OEM it's a perfect fit with somewhat tasteful distribution and intensity of light

Being an owner of current G series and having this kit in an F8X M

Your statement is 100000% factually incorrect.

This kit integrates into oem. Works through idrive and the output is evenly dispersed as it uses the oem diffuser lens.

Btw We dont make these kits as you see and have no affiliation- they are from china, like the phone your posting from and 90% of everything else you own.

We just have first hand experience. 🤌🏽

I own an X3M competition with the oem ambient lights, have been in another 10 cars with oem ambient

Believe it or not, have also been inside a friends F30 with the AliExpress lighting kit

Is it bad? No. Is it good as oem? No.

You should reread our post that you quoted. F32 is also not the same as f30
