Installed Yellow M1/M2 + Start Buttons
I haven’t seen any photos on the forum of both yellow M1/M2 and Start/Stop buttons installed so here are a pair in case anyone wants to see what it looks like.

I know the Start button can be simply pulled out using either tape or a suction cup. I'm assuming that I have to take apart the wheel trim for the M buttons.

Yeah you need to pop out the airbag and get the wheel trim off if you have a DCT. Manuals should be able to remove the button pod without removing the air bag since the paddle isn't in the way. There's also supposed to be a way to get them out from the front using trim tools but I wasn't able to do it.
