Anyone fitted these or are we all still running OEM plugs?

I'm still on factory plugs Steve. But will be using the NGK ones when it comes round to the big service.

Mate, they're only £10.89 each from Autodoc - And if you order via Topcashback, there's 16% cashback on top of that (for new customers, 8% otherwise)....

I've not looked, but guess Evolve want crazy cash for them? SteveChester

£120 most of the stuff they sell is over priced from looking at it!

I'll get a new set bought thanks for the info.

I'm guessing this isn't feasible if you want the big service done at a Franchise dealer?

I don't see what not. I'm gonna be getting my own plugs, gapping them correctly myself, then getting the dealer to fit instead of theirs.
I don't see how it's different to when ppl take their own oil.

I think his question is probably more of a warranty one - can't see them doing the above whilst under warranty?

Yes that's more what I was thinking. I'm due the big one in about 5k Miles, so assuming current restrictions are lifted by end of May I'd expect to be doing it in Autumn, so I'd still have a year of warranty left. Though unless I start engine modifying I'm not sure they'd make much difference?

They're recommended for tuned cars. As they run cooler than the stock Bosch ones.
I'm out of warranty this month.... But this service isn't due for another 12K miles, so will be time-dependent on the 4 years from manufacture.
As no one's open at the minute, I'm presuming that they'll still do my free end of warranty check when business is open again & honour anything that needs doing, although to be fair, I don't think there's anything wrong with anything. So far anyway...
