I'm sure IND or some other aftermarket tuner will come with a similar trunk for the M3.

I don't think I'll be picking up a new M3/4. However, it just sucks that they include this for the M4 but not the M3. At least they now include a CF roof which was not available on the E90 M3.

exactly what I see everyday... Good. And those bars above the tac, fill up as you get into the yellow and then blink red same as on the m3 with the lights above the rpm...

Exactly..

I uploaded some photos from my m5 to show (sorry about the sun on the m mode hud setting)

But you can see the DAP thats the alert you get where the car feels like you're too close to stop in time and to back off [the little red car along with beeping noises as you get closer and closer]

Here is the hud with navigation it displays even more color and detail on other exits/roads but that should give you an idea.

This is the m mode hud with RPM and lights above when you're closing in on redline

big 6 is the gear not RPM as others have mentioned.

Does anyone know if it's possible to install bike racks on the roof of the M3?
I think I did see the tabs on the roof for the roof rack but I can't find a picture of it now.

First time poster here!

Had a quick question, all articles for a while now have been touting 0-60 at 3.9 for the DCT and 4.1 for manual. BMW specs at the UK BMW configurator site now says 4.1 for the DCT and 4.3s for the manual.....is the US version going to be faster or was it misrepresentation all along?..=). Not that you can feel the 0.2 second differential anyways.

0-60 vs 0-100km (0-62). theres your difference

may be an extra shift required, idk.

Eh, it would just raise the base price. But more importantly, I think some folks like to put aftermarket suspension on the car for track-use, etc. As I understand it, it is really hard to do coil overs, etc. if you have the adaptive M suspension.

Not sure it's been discussed, but converting Euro cycle to mpg, this is 19.6 city / 34 highway / 26 combined? Wow!

I'll be honest. If you run the car in "economy" throttle mode, you MIGHT be able to squeeze the high 20's out on the highway.

However, I think 24 or so on the highway is what you will most likely see, with the expected "spirited" driving style.

I am averaging about 17 in mixed city/hwy (about 80/20) these days. Which is actually relief in its own right, because 17 is the best I EVER got in my E60 M5, highway or otherwise. City was between 11 and 14 for that guy.
