Somebody did this to my car..

So somebody did this to my car and disappeared. Didn't even realise until I got home.

No note left or CCTV!

I wonder if anybody can offer some advise on how best to deal with this. Im guessing not to go through insurance as to avoid paying higher premium in the future? So I'm guessing out of pocket?

Can this be fixed? and how much should I expect to pay?
The colour is mineral white and Im based in lovely sunny Bham. (in case that makes a difference!)

Much respect,
J

Damn always a gamble parking outside, the fin is all bent and and dent in the bumper, also wheres the nipple from? I recently got hit and ran and went thru insurance. In usa premiums don't go up from a hit and run! Also i got my deductible waved by farmers insurance so it sucks to have to fix but at least not at the cost to me. Mine is fairly minor like your luckily, motorcycle chopper sliced me with his peddle.

Hope you get that sorted quickly, lights busted as well by the look of it! Can't see any paint rub off from whoever hit it, maybe a van with plain plastic bumper

Garage List
That's a pain. More hassle than you need. A dishonest driver also. You would think, assume they realised they had damaged your car. This year a young lady in a Fiat 500 hit my previous car which was a 6 series. I was wandering back to my parked car when the Fiat pulled away from being parked in a bay next to me. I thought that was close when she drove away. My partners daughter said "no it wasn't close she hit you and drove off". I checked and sure enough there I could see a scraped bumper with red Fiat 500 paint. I tried running after the car on my feet but they were off. Too far away to read the no plate. The police weren't interested & no cctv. If I see any Fiat 500 with white paint on it's bumper I will jump on it's bonnet to stop them. I was gutted however realised as much hassle as it was, if that's my worst issue in life I will cope. Many folks in the hospital would be happy to have my problem. Sorry again to hear your news and I hope it doesn't cost too much to get fixed. I think with a good repair you will never know. I also hope at some point the dishonest driver get his or her comeuppance.

As above sickening.

I reckon that's going to be expensive to have done properly.

I have been quoted £750, by someone I use for all my repair work so I know their quality, just to have my rear bumper repaired after some pr*tt opened their door onto it (no note left). Only really minor damage but it still needs a total respray. You would need to add a new bumper, light and whatever else behind the bumper that may be damaged as the bumper has obviously flexed back onto the support structure.

If that was the case in the UK, no 2 cars would ever claim at the same time. Every accident would be a hit and run.

For the F36, I used 153, boot light for the ACC+ and direct to battery (via an inline fuse) for power always on and neg.
