Cup 2 Star Specs

hi, may I know pls anyone can confirm the Michelin part numbers of the Cup 2 Star specs originally equipped for M4 GTS?

I've contacted a few Michelin dealers they told me that there are a few versions for the same Cup 2 tire sizes (F: 265/35-19, R: 285/30-20) so they
are not certain which ones are originally equiped for my M4 GTS.

are these the correct Michelin part numbers?

F: 24523
R: 35654

To my understanding there are tires made for general consumption, but also Cup 2's made to manufacturers specs. Witnessed by the star on BMW supplied tires that come with the car, MO (I think) for Mercedes spec tires, and possibly Porsche spec tires. While these tires may carry the same numeric designations, the dimensions are different. For some reason my GTS had one MO (Mercedes) spec tire on the front, not only were there physical differences, the MO spec tire has a slightly wider footprint than the BMW star version. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have 2 x MO spec Cup 2 on front. they're 275s.

You're right. the 265 MO spec has a wider tread width:

265/35ZR19
(98Y) XL
MO Mercedes
180 AA A 1,653 lbs 50 psi 7.2/32" 25 lbs 9-10.5" 9.5" 10.7" 9.5" 26.3" 790
265/35ZR19
(98Y) XL
Star BMW M4 GTS
180 AA A 1,653 lbs 50 psi 7.2/32" 24 lbs 9.5-10.5" 9" 10.7" 9.1" 26.3" 790

And yes, numerous varieties/specs of Cup 2s. Not close to equal. BMW/Star Spec is a very mild, street-friendly version.

Had the offending tire replaced with the correct version so all standard spec GTS tires, all is right with the world, I think!
