Apex SM-10 in 19’ anybody?

I’m pretty set on them I’d love to hear your feedback and photos if you have any.

I’d run 19x10” ET25 iN the front with 275/30-19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
And
19x11” ET44 In the rear with 305/30-19 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S

Looking for a very flush look.

Thanks!
Tom

I am running19x9.5 et 22 in front with 265/35/19 PS4S, and 19x11 et 44 with 305/30/19 PS4S in rear. Lowered on MP HAS. I have been pleased with them, looking at getting 18 for the track. I think these are before I went to -2.4 front camber.

Thank you. Do you have any more higher res photos?
Could you have gone with a 315 30 19 rear?
Seems like 305 30 is a smaller diameter than oem.

AlsO any reason you went with 265 30 front ?
Seems like 275 30 would fit too.

Thank you

Tom

I just think I have IPhone Photos, but will look. I have a A/S set on the car right now for the winter.

305 30 is smaller, but I have not had any issues. Running CS MDM for daily and off at the track. 315 might work depending on actual dimensions, a quick look at Tire Rack did not show that size for the PS4S.

Looking at Tire Rack, the 275/30 is smaller diameter and only like 0.1” wider in tread width, so I think would fit. At the time, since I went with the 9.5” front vs the 10”, seemed like most people were running the 265 on the 9.5” and 275 on the 10”.

I went with the 9.5” based on getting extra clearance to the MP HAS, where I understand the 10” it was needed/recommended to have a spacer.

The Apex Thread has some more pics toward the end.

Tom, I have those exact wheels, but am running 71R's, 265/35 and 305/30. I'm lowered on the MP HAS, and have GC camber plates, almost at -3 in the front. Need a 5mm spacer up front to make that work (to clear the strut). Very happy with the look and performance. With that amount of camber, and depending on how much you track, doing 1 re-mount (flip inside/outside) helps to maximize tread life.

Have you considered the 71R's? I keep them on the whole summer, and this car is my daily driver. As they wear, you do have to be a bit more careful in the rain, but I haven't had any issues with keeping speeds ~60, being mindful to keep her in Efficient and nannies fully on.

Well actually I have a set of 18 inch track wheels so I’m good from that standpoint but I’m looking for a good set of 19s that can accommodate a set of wide tires. I am also lowered on MP suspension but I do not have Camber plates. Or do I stick with 295 rear and get more options that way? Either way it’s hard time find a good set of 19 inch wheels which are not expensive enough to not attract attention when I park at the train station

295 is a real wide tire... even though it sounds like it's only one size away from 285 it's actually a whole inch wider, in fact it has an 11" tread width. I don't see the need for a 305... especially on an 11" wheel... unless you want that beefy tire look.

If what you're looking for is strictly street setup I'd go 265/35F 285/35R, that would give you the most comfy ride.

19" SM-10's you say? We might be able to help here! Below is our recommended 19" staggered fitment along with a few photos of this exact setup on various F8x chassis cars:

Front: 19x10" ET25 with 275/30-19 tires
Rear: 19x11" ET44 with 305/30-19 tires
  • Brake clearance: SB CCB
  • Available in SM-10 design only.
  • 5mm front spacers may be required for certain aftermarket suspensions.
  • Front 19x9.5" ET22 wheel can be used to avoid running spacers with certain aftermarket suspensions due to its superior inner clearance.
  • 315/25-19 rear tires may also be used, but may require rolled rear fenders and/or negative camber.
  • Rear 295/30-19 tires can also be used.

Shoot us a PM if you have any additional questions!

- Max

Tom,

Just in the past week my wheel inventory is changing up... I decided to go to a dedicated 18" track set up for the summer, with return of the 437M's back into the rotation for summer street driving -- and thus will be looking to unload my 19" SM-10's in your desired specs, in Satin Black (w/ TPMS). If interested, PM me and we can chat. Also, I'm in South Jersey and would be willing to meet you halfway, which would help you save on shipping. The wheels are like-new, other than some brake dust residue.

Quick update
Looks like I’ll be getting these wheels. I’m torn on tire setups.
Is 315 really too wide in the back? Seems to be the closest diameter to OEM.

Below is my spreadsheet outlining my comparison and thinking. Which tires should I go with?

Hey Tommy
I personally would stick to a 305 out back instead of a 315 for that wheel setup. To me it looks more complete with the front fitment. Look forward to seeing these on broski
