Next time I’m in Chicago for work you’ll have to bring it by. I’ve never road in a manual. I’m just lazy and wanted a DCT. LOL

Thank you!! I am doing XPEL Ultimate Plus PPF on the entire car as well as putting Modesta BC-08 on and replacing the rear taillights to the European amber non-shadowline ones. It should look a lot more glossy once the work has been completed - my last car had rock chips up the butt in the front and sides so I'm not taking a chance this time around and wanted to get it protected ASAP!

Your car will be here before you know it! The boat and vehicle delivery time feels like forever but it will be here before you know it

Once you are in Chicago at some point, I'll definitely take you on a spin in it (once the break-in period is over

)!

Waiting for more pics of this car lol. Is the Opal White an Individual color? The configurator doesn't explicitly state it but it seems like it would be Individual. Wondering because I'm kicking myself right now for not going with Golden Brown but if that would've added to my wait time then I suppose I'd feel better about it. Dealer told me 6-8 weeks for my build but seems like yours took over 3 months.

I actually forgot to take more pictures at the detailers place!

Opal White is an Individual interior color and you are correct - the configurator on BMWUSA doesn't explicitly say that!

Golden Brown isn't bad (not my style) but your combo of Alpine White/Sakhir Orange Full is IMO way better!

My dealer put the order in ASAP late July but any Individual orderdelays the build at least a month. From the day I put down a deposit to picking up the car was about 3 months and 1 week so it wasn't too bad - a good chunk of it was waiting for the dealer to receive an allocation.

I'm sure when I finally have this car, none of this will matter. The darker colors against GB do look pretty good though.

I love this combo. I'm very tempted to do it myself.

I just turned in my Mineral White on Full Black M3. I absolutely loved that combo but want to change it up this time.

I'm tempted to do either SMB on Opal or Golden Brown.
