Same here. Hopefully we get some different colors though I'm sure they'll have the same ones from Detroit.

These colors really suck!

Its either too loud - Yellow, Smurf Blue, Sakhir Orange.
Or its too plain / dark - Black, white, mineral grey, Silver

Where the hell is LeMans, interlagos Blue, Sparkling Graphite or even EB2????

don't disagree with what you wrote, but sparkling graphite looks a hell of a lot like mineral gray. seen em both in person.

im ordering aw / Sonoma so doesn't really affect me, but they should have included estoril and imola/Melbourne red

Agree. Better blue and red options would be nice. I'm sure they'll realeased a new color or two in a few years.

So they have the cars unlocked at the Houston show? I was at the NAIAS in Detroit last Saturday; the one M3 and two M4's there were locked down tight...

Too bad, BMW can probably make it up if they also have the cars at the Dallas show unlocked, but at this point, I've pretty much made up my mind that I will just get the new C-Class (which I was able to thoroughly check out at NAIAS) later this year.

I can see those seat badges heating up in the sun and burning skin through thin shirts! Coupe looks great, M3 in AY looks like a resale nightmare.

Why didn't BMW make the black plastic on the side mirrors nice and shiny? My finish on my 1er has, like, a gloss finish to it. These look like there's no finish to them, just plain plastic, looks cheap to me... Great looking cars though

We've been trying to determine if the matte color is Shadowline. If so, I'm spec'ing it. I prefer the matte.

Some of the photo taking at these shows is atrocious. These are particularly terrible.

I know, right? They definitely aren't on par with the pictures you took and shared with us.

Oh wait, you didn't take or post any pictures and contributed nothing except for this useless and whiny post

Thanks for stopping by

More Pics

As requested, here are some more pictures of the M3/M4. Both cars were fully open for the spectators to examine. The only locked up BMW model in Houston was the i3. As Kenny has stated, the seats are great. They were the most comfortable seats that I sat in out of all the cars at the show. It almost ruined my ride home in my E90M LCI. I had reservation with the M seat badge, but I couldn't feel it as it didn't come in contact with my back. Now if it heats up in the sun, it may be an issue. Hopefully, the BMW designers accounted for this. The one thing lacking in the seats are the adjustable thigh support. Both cars were fitted with carbon ceramic brakes.

***Disclaimer*** I'm not a professional photographer and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express.

Really? I took over 150 photos from the DC show and posted about 30 or so. Let's beak down your flawed post:

Lighting is poor at the shows, it's not natural lighting.
Most importantly is getting the picture so quickly when there isn't 100 people around the car or in it, that is the biggest challenge of all and try not to be rude to others trying to look at the car. How about you actually go to to the show and see if you can fare better.
