BSM rock chip touch up

I have a black sapphire f82 I bought used with 30k on it.

There is a ton of rock chips on the front, but the rest of the paint is immaculate at the moment, so at first I didn't care. I attached a pic (putting a front plate that's why there's holes unfortunately because its a daily in New York).

Respraying the whole bumper $500-$800 isn't worth it to me because 1) it's just gonna happen again, unless I PPF but I'm not doing that bc I don't know how long I'll be keeping the car and 2) it will likely age over time and look different from the hood and fenders 3) it's not serious damage where I'd spend almost a grand I can live with it worst case because it's a daily not a show car.

I was considering using touch up paint on some of the bigger chips.

I used OEM touch up paint on my previous car which did not match AT ALL and I've heard bmw touch up paint is really bad too.

Dr. colorchip sounds promising but I haven't seen anyone with Black Sapphire use it on bimmerpost. Does anyone have any experience with it? I was only going to use it in big chips that are noticeable from more than 5-6 feet away. Probably 5-10 spots total.

I don't know if black sapphire metallic is on the harder or easier end of trying to match with touch ups as I've only seen people with mineral grey and white use it on bimmerpost.

If anyone has used it for rock chips, especially on black sapphire please give some feedback.

Have you tried dr color chip? I used it before on my alpine white 335is and it's pretty good. It covered all the small chops and it blends unlike other touch up paint that looks like a sap on the car.

I would think that if you use it for small chips it won't look bad. It works best with non metallic paint I think.
