WTB: Imola Red F80

Hey all,

Been lurking the forums for a while tossing around the idea of picking up an F80. Unfortunately I tend to be attracted to the Imola red cars which seem to be a little harder to find. That and the fact that Id like a MT makes it trickier. Just wondering if there's anything out there for sale that maybe I haven't noticed? Or perhaps someone's looking to part ways with their red F80 in the relatively near future?

General things I'm looking for are Imola red color, 6spd MT, black interior, relatively low mileage, no accidents, comp & exec are pluses but I may be flexible depending on the car overall.

Ive beeen looking at f80s for months and havent seen one yet. Theres been a few dct

I have seen one in six months, and it sold for 86,000 or something similiar.

I love Imola too.. to be honest, what I am considering is buying a white one and then wrapping it a similar red to Imola. You will save 30k on the car, and pay 3k or less for the wrap. There is just so few out there.....

Thanks for the input guys. Just took a look at the F82, both do look good in imola. Gotta play with the idea of an 82 now lol.

Found that a while ago, not a fan of the tan interior though. Seems like he was going for a Ferrari theme, they often have tan interiors don't they.

Yeah I saw this not too long ago, couldn't come to a deal. Wasn't even on price, wanted my own inspection at a near by euro performance shop but they wouldn't allow it. One of the first question I had asked was if the car was modded and was told no but then I chatted with their mechanic and he mentioned having to revert a number of things back to stock. Not that any of those things are deal breakers but I need to know exactly what I'm buying as it was an "as is" sale with no return policy. Note: They did allow those mobile inspection ie. lemon squad etc. but I was looking for someone a little more experienced with these cars (the euro shop).

I appreciate the help though!

Not sure which red it is. VIN comes as “Sonderlackierung (490)” which means special paint. Can’t see paint code.

Saw this one too. DCT though, there's another imloa f80 somewhere here on the forums for sale but that too is DCT. I'm pretty set on a 6 speed.

This one is a few miles away from me. I was going to go check it out before I bought my Alpine white F80. This one has a lot of great mods to it.
