Paint cover, is it worth it?

Just placed a deposit on an M3.

They are trying to sell me Protectx Life time cover which most of the time i would refuse.

However he did a great job of selling it. Is it worth going for?

£449 for lifetime cover

Absolutely not. It's a mediocre product at best. If it's applied properly.
And I'm afraid, with the best will in the world, rushed technicians & vehicle prep valeters are almost guaranteed not to apply it properly.
The thing to do is source a recommendation for ceramic coating & have it done immediately after you get the car.

As above go to a decent detailer and get some ceramic applied - possibly a machine polish as well depending on what condition the car gets handed over in!
