You're most welcome sir!!! YMB appeals to each one of us a bit differently ... In person, it's a very unique color & definitely will turn heads, but IMHO, it may not be "timeless" like say, AW (sorry, I'm a bit biased, haha) ... Just my 2 cents ...

Those are most likely the same two cars we had in Montreal. The YMB M3 also had the black wheels in Montreal.

I stand corrected here gents, but I think the black wheels are available for both the M3 and the M4 ... I could be wrong ...

In Canada, there are two options:

19" black/black-chrome are standard
19" grey/silver are a no cost option

In the US, you might get 18" as standard with the 19"s as a cost option.

Again, just my opinion ... Car color is very subjective, but yes, I think YMB suits the M3 better with its sedan lines ... The M4 being a 2-door demands a more "aggressive" color and YMB would just be "flat" IMHO ... But damn, both cars had the carbon fiber roof and it looks simply amazing!!!

I was there both Thursday night & yesterday morning before the show opened as we were there for a presentation of the new Z06.In my opinion both the F8x's looked really poor thanks to the choice of colours that BMW choose for the launch and I really do not like the tu-tone wheels either. But with that being said I like everything else that I saw on the cars and I am looking forward to receiving mine in the summer. The Z06 Z07 just blew it right out of the park and will be an ultimate street legal, turnkey track car!

Thanks for the pics! Was there on Friday as well, and thankfully it wasn't too crowded.
Black two tone rims definitely look better in person. It just doesn't show well in pictures.

I'm sure I'm late to this party but I just noticed no hood insulation.

I'm curious about this. Obviously an area for a few pounds of weight savings, but you need to have good quality heat shielding in place to keep the heat pointed downwards to help prevent the hood from getting too hot (for the paint I mean).

On the other hand, it may also serve to better dissipate underhood heat.

I've noticed this too. No hood insulation. I don't think it's a big concern as most performance cars I've seen don't have it. Some that come to mind are the GTR, RS5.
Also, as far as I remember, the hood is aluminum right? If so, it won't hold the heat as much as other metals.

Performance beast that it is, I wish it didn't look so garish.
