I was there both Thursday night & yesterday morning before the show opened as we were there for a presentation of the new Z06.In my opinion both the F8x's looked really poor thanks to the choice of colours that BMW choose for the launch and I really do not like the tu-tone wheels either. But with that being said I like everything else that I saw on the cars and I am looking forward to receiving mine in the summer. The Z06 Z07 just blew it right out of the park and will be an ultimate street legal, turnkey track car!

Thanks for the pics! Was there on Friday as well, and thankfully it wasn't too crowded.
Black two tone rims definitely look better in person. It just doesn't show well in pictures. |

I'm sure I'm late to this party but I just noticed no hood insulation.
I'm curious about this. Obviously an area for a few pounds of weight savings, but you need to have good quality heat shielding in place to keep the heat pointed downwards to help prevent the hood from getting too hot (for the paint I mean). On the other hand, it may also serve to better dissipate underhood heat. |

Also, as far as I remember, the hood is aluminum right? If so, it won't hold the heat as much as other metals. |
