Hi all. I am still looking for someone to install my ACS springs on my car in the Detroit area. Nikolas Motorsports will not install customer supplied parts (even after I offered to pay whatever profit the would make on springs if I purchased from them, and indicated that I would expect to be a new and recurring customer). Erhard BMW will not install non BMW parts. Motorwerks will install them, but want 9 hours at exotic car rates since I already bought springs. I will check for other Indy shops, but thought I would ask for other recommendations and thoughts, as $1300 to install is nuts. Thx for any suggestions.

There was one LBB ///M2 and a few ///M3s (couple white, couple YMB, one Sakhir ZCP) at M1 Concourse this morning. Any of you by chance?

Saw the first F80 I've seen on the street (other than mine) on Coolidge in Troy today. It was YMB.

F80 zcp singapore grey. lowered on eibach's w/ spacers + bm3 tuned. live in grosse pointe park, work in detroit and hit as many cars and coffee as possible.

you are going pay a premium to install springs on an f80/82 around se michigan based on the lack of experience and how the manual quotes the process + hours. nikolas is a rip off. motorwerks screwed me on my e46 ///m and will never reco them.

i went with sunshade in troy. can tell you what i paid via pm if you wish. very happy with the results - no issues to report after one month. ask for erik. tell him colin sent you.

Ah my car was in for tints at Sunshade as yours was getting springs, they posted a picture and I thought it was my car for a second lol. I would also recommend Sunshade they are good people.

You have the stock 18” wheels correct? If so I have seen you a few times around the Shell station off Woodward

I have the stockers for my summer setup and snow setup. One of my fav OEM wheels BMW has come out with in 18" sizing

What color is your F80? Im sure we'll run into each other at some point

I had a 15 MG with the stocker 18" as well, now I have a 18 MG ZCP with the "black" 20" option. Really miss the 18's and think I might pick a set up, the 20's are just to low profile for these MI roads

Does anyone in southeast Michigan need some winter tires?
I have a set of 245/45r18 Michelin Ice X on BBS wheels available. Tires have about 6000 miles on them and served me well, but with my M3 being totalled I no longer need them.
Figured I would offer them up here first before posting in the classifieds and dealing with shipping.
