Confirming that my OFT tune has been working great, minus the burbles. There is plenty of power, throttle issues have been addressed and the car pulls like a train.
The only issue are the burbles. They sound softer and the pops are more .... artificial and forced.
As an example, with oem tune the burbles start after the car warms up a bit. With this they start right away but don’t sound as good and as the car warms up they stay on the quiet side but sometimes sound like misfires.

The good news is that Anthony has been super responsive and we are working through this little issue. Every tune he sends me is better and better so I’m confident we can figure out the burbles issue.

Tommy L Garage do you have burbles in sport?

My issue is i have oe zcp burbles in sport, but they're very faint in sport+, which makes no sense

Just tried latest map from Anthony, the throttle tip in is perfect, just need to try a map with oe burbles and oe exhaust valve operation now to test my theory

I have sport + mapping in both sport and sport plus so I can’t relate but it’s just quiet all around. And the burbles sound a bit artificial...

We will get there I hope

Maybe try turning off the active sound

Wasn't that a problem with burbles on another tuning platform

I'll give it a go in the morning, worth a shot

I have a ZCP and am fine with the stock burbles, etc. Can you send the LT stage 1 tune with just the valves being open full time in sport +? Just want it stock except for the power and valves being open. What else is there? CS EDC & CS steering coding?

Tried oe burble and oe valve map, no beuno

Still get burbles in sport like stock zcp, but very faint in sport+

Had a look at the map with tunerpro and there doesn't seem to be a table defined for sport+ burble, only normal and sport, could this be the reason

Made some videos to show the issue I'm having with burble on my zcp

First video shows rev up in N cycling modes where burble working correctly

Second video shows driving switching bw sport and sport plus where you can hear burble quieter in sport plus

Yup - still burble issues on mine.
Hoping the next revision will fix it.

FYI: no tune is perfect. BM3 is having high-rpm hesitation issues also....
At this point I'm considering a CS tune and calling it a day

Yep I'm on the full torque map atm, gees it's a lot of pull, massive gain over stock zcp

I was all about the flat map but that instant pull at low-mid revs is hard to ignore

Anthony is it Shiv who develops the software for OpenFlash?

Either way are there plans to have an integrated Flex Fuel setup and single turbo ewg OTS calibration for S55?

The flex fuel integration imo would sway a lot of buyers. A few pages back I believe it was raised and answered. Basically the amount of effort to high jack a table that is not required and effectively amend the logic to target this table as an offset + find a pin to utilise for the signal input is significant effort, so not anything in the short term.

Happy to be proven wrong though !!! Hint hint

Anthony has fixed the burble coding, in that you now get the same burble sound in both sport and sport plus

Here is some more aggressive than oe custom burble coding

I think most will be happy with this

My car is zcp with eventuri and mpe

How is that fixing the burble?
It sounds like nasty backfire compared to OEM burbles.

This is the biggest problem I have with this tune. Why can’t the burbles be left alone and sound just like stock.?

You didn't read after the comma and must have jumped straight to the video

The burble was setup like this just to make sure it was clearly working in both modes, now Anthony should be able to populate the burble tables with the oe zcp values like we're after

Ps: fix your pm settings

Understood - I am still waiting for Anthony to fix the burble.
My burble works in both modes since I asked him to set up same burble sound in sport and sport+, and none in Comfort. So far though, the burbles are there but sound like unhealthy spark-plug related backfires.

Hoping this gets resolved soon. No hard feelings since we all signed up to test thing new tune - and Anthony has been awesome to deal with.

Bone stock + oft version 2.1x pb. Let's worry less about the burble and enjoy the reliable map and power . I'm sure Anthony will take care of the burbles lol (I opted for no burbles).

Will be doing my datalogs this week to see how both maps responds at wot in our summer heat

Re burble, some of us zcp owners just want the car to work as per stock in this regard. There should be no reason the car can't be tuned and retain all the stock zcp features
