Think if Porsche can confirm the con rod issue extends beyond that 190 (globally) cars for the 718 GTS, Spyder and GT4 then probably the engine replacement might the only choice but that's complete speculation. If they are absolutely certain this only affects the 190 cars, then they wouldn't need to aside from replacing those engines.

I remember the .1 GT3 issue affecting a very small portion of the cars but GT ppl ended up doing the engine replacement for safety and to calm 750+ owners of those cars. They technically didn't need to when they did the meeting but did it anyway.

Porsche has generally done their customers right, especially their GT customers. It does suck they haven't openly said anything but, think they are either trying to figure out if they would need to do more, or if this is indeed those 190 cars.

Also reading some ppl there whine on RL is funny as reading the delusional G8x owners. I'm always glad I have a good connection with my dealership.

But yeah, I think the tow mase is on my list now. My coffee, I'm willing to spend 200k on that sound. (Edit: no I'm not but for an hour I tried to make myself consider it. I've given up. I'm going to be old now and invest in some retirement fund thingy my stupid bank recommends instead of trying to find anything fun. )

You know... the fact that you don't outright call it a Maserati means you are quietly disappointed with the brand like everyone else.

I been in one. The only Maserati I think it's worth the price tag is the GranTurismo. Or... I guess WAS the GranTurismo. All the other cars were just completely underwhelming. I am also not overly attached to the whole, "omg it's a Ferrari engine!" vibe.

200k in finland is about the same I wouldve paid for Peter here then. I only paid 70k us for Peter there, then ended up losing 5k cuz the dollar soared. I'm doing taxes this week so all I can think about is taxes. Damnit to hell, I can't get a write off on the idiot dog.

Currently I can pay the 200k for the sound the hubby wants the puppy, a dalmatian. Since I haven't bought a car, he just buys a puppy even I don't want to train.

So 2k for a puppy and a breed I can't stand yet no car. Guys, at some point... yeah. Who the fuckgets a punishment dog?

I LOVE the Maserati *brand* ... but their cars are all so disappointing for me, they haven't even gotten more than a casual online glance. I don't understand them at all ... when I think Italian I think of style - and I'm willing to buy style over substance! - but these masers seem to have none of either

Nah, you're absolutely right. Couldn't agree more with you but unlike you, I'm so whipped I get the bad dog and end up in an audi just because. It is kinda amazing how sick the hubby is of my stalling tactics and even knowing that he too can make a decision for all of us if I don't get my shit together, I still can't find a car, I mean I am not willing to out a cent on anything. No interest. Nada. The same with the summer house project, cool plans, no effort put to them.

Instead of doing insane projects I sit in my office going through stupid data, and cursing the damn puppy that'll be in my couch in a month. This has to be the lamest I've ever been since I didn't even tell the hubby to fuck off when he told me he found a puppy he liked.

I swear to coffee I tried not to be an audi girl but life just didn't work with me here. I'll go buy sensible shoes and suspenders later to finish the look.

Hey minn19 & Arcades I need a ruling ... I was leaning espresso for the "natural" leather, but I started thinking maybe black! I know, but I haven't had a black interior for a decade and with the brushed aluminum it seems pretty sporty - kinda that motorcycle jacket look. anyway, that's the first thing ...

The next thing is ... if I get black, I'm thinking race-tex steering wheel (which comes with shifter & boot) ... thoughts?

I personally can't stand race tex, alcantara, suede or whatever a manufacturers wants to call it on steering wheels. I hate the feel of it and find that it is more slippery than leather and harder to keep clean etc. Unless you wear driving gloves all the time, then the grip is fantastic IMO. I do like it as seat inserts for multiple reasons and looks nice enough for the interior.

I have black with chalk stitching/seat belts and I love the look. Very classy and won't go out of style. I would've preffered the aluminum look to my CF interior package for that reason as well. That is a great combo IMO.

I'm not a light blue guy so I never liked YAS, Grabber or Miami blue colors.

AY is stunning in person IMO, but obviously very loud and attracts a lot of unwanted attention when I had mine.

I also love SO in person, but it would be hard for me to have the interior the same. But, I'm somewhat boring with my car color tastes and would love SO over a black interior. My first F80 was MW and full leather SO interior, which was gorgeous.

I was at a BMW dealership yesterday, saw an M8 competition being prepped for delivery. Dark gray exterior, brown (lleather?) dash. A brown leather dash? Not my cup of tea. The rest of the car was dynamite.

Yas, which was my original pick btw, with anything.

In other news, I was listening to the Floyd trial today. A former mma fighter was a witness apparently. Reminded me of of something that did leave a lifelong impact on me.

I wasn't in cuffs. My kids were watching, and I knew he could've ended me. We were just having fun, sparring a bit since he knew what I did when the sun went down and he wanted me to prepare for shit.

I told him in like 15 seconds I would try not to end up like that ever again. I've never been that helpless. Floyd was in a worse position for over 9 minutes.

In finland that's murder. I'm good with that.

Never been a big fan of Yas or AY personally. Wife and I saw a Camaro the other day in some weird yellow and my wife said it looked like asparagus pee.. 😂

For the record, I'm now trying to fall asleep while listening to the emt who just was off duty and has more medical training than I do (combat wounds, basic and extensive first aid, first aid for horses in traumas also). Basically my training says, especially the horse shit calls bs on the defence.

I still think a skin colour should not be a reason to use more force.
