M Performance HAS and rubbing?
Hey guys,
A possible issue...but since now i couldn't figure it out. Setup Summer: MP HAS (bmw recommended high) with M666 wheels and bmw standard tires, 12.5mm front and 15mm rear spacers. No rubbing or other weird noises Setup Winter: MP HAS (bmw recommended high) with M Flowing-Forming 641 wheels and bmw standard tires, no spacers. So this setup is much more conservative (no spacers, smaller tires). But now..when i drive on rough roads with waves like road irregularity or pass sidwalks I hear a slightly noise like something is rubbing. The situation is like the springs are going up and down because of the "waves" (i hope you know what i mean) I've heard that the gap between kw has springs an tires is very tight...and they recommend spacers for a bigger gap an no rubbing issues. https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1270984 But with MP HAS I should not have this issue? Do you know about that topic? Does my winter setup is rubbing at the MP springs because of no spacers? Thanks for help Nic |

Hey
I have MP HAS and winter setup from BMW of 255/40/18 square and no rubbing at all. Also at std lowered height for HAS kit. You should not be having an issue. Far more clearence when I look then with my summer set up which also does not rub, 265/35/19 and 285/35/19 no spacers. |
